CLIMATE:

Long and cold winter for perfect ripening of the fruit.

TERROIR:

Weathered granite and sandy loam soils in the lower parts of the vineyards.

 

VINTAGE NOTES:   

A very long winter that introced equal budding and a long ripening season which in turn will produce a berry with intense cultivar character and fruit concentration. 

VINIFICATION:

Ages of the vines is 7 years old. Grapes are handpicked and meticulously sorted to ensure only the best fruit is used for vinification. Cool fermentation temperatures to preserve the fruit. Directly after fermentation prepared for bottling.

 

DESCRIPTION:

Sumptuous yet restraint showing fresh cut "gousblom" (wild flower) with whiffs of pomegranite; smooth mid-weight palate but beautifully balanced with a strong bur elegant personality and a long lingering finish.
