Situated on the foothills of the Hawequa mountain, overlooking Wellington.
CLIMATE:

Long and cold winter.

TERROIR:
Weathered granite and sandy loam soils in the lower parts of the vineyards.
VINIFICATION:

Age of the vines about 10 years. Grapes are handpicked and meticulously sorted to ensure only the best fruit is used for vinification. Juice stay on skins for up to 21 days after fermentation for elegance and structure. Matured for up to 12 months in mainly French oak barrels.

DESCRIPTION:

Ruby red colour. Intense aromas of raspberry, cherry and currant on the nose. Fruity flavours of red berry, raspberry and plum on the palate. A flavorful, medium bodied wine with smooth acidity, soft tannins and a elegant dry finish.
