New and Exciting news at Mont du Toit Kelder!

Mont du Toit Kelder has always been known for outstanding red blends. From the first vintage 1998 the blends got the world talking about this joint venture wines between a German and South African winemaker. These blends were voted Decanter Best Bordeaux blend and rated 0.05% just under Opus One - a highly respected joint venture wine. The wines has always had structure and ageing potential. These wines were focused on the wine collector and the wine lover who enjoy well-balanced wines which was not made in a commercial way. End of 2009 the decision was made to create a new range of single cultivar wines that will suit the younger and more adventurous drinker. Someone that does not necessarily want to wait 5 years for a wine to age but to be able to enjoy the wines now. The range was created under the Les Coteaux label. The Les Coteaux Selection is still the main blend of Cabernet/Shiraz and Merlot whereas the single cultivar wines are: Les Coteaux Cabernet Sauvingon 2009, Les Coteaux Merlot 2009 and Les Coteaux Shiraz 2009. The new range was launched at a prestigue evening on the 24th of May at the Everard Read Gallery in Rosebank, Johannesburg.
