Mont Du Toit Range

  • Le Sommet

The “peak” – made only in exceptional years in very limited quantities – a wine displaying all the qualities of Mont du Toit but adding to that a special refinement and fullness which nature has permitted – a special wine for a very special occasion. Can be kept for 10-15 years.

  • Mont du Toit

This blend is our flagship. Matured for up to 20 months in oak barrels; bottle aged for a further year or more before release; complex flavours of red fruit; mouth-filling; elegant yet forceful; flavours on front, middle and back palate; long aftertaste; a wine that will keep and grow for 10 or more years

More recently, we have added to the Mont du Toit range, a single cultivar Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. These two wines represent the very best of each cultivar, and undergo the same careful selection as the blend. These two wines are available only in limited quantities.

Wine Bottle & Vine
  • Les Coteaux

Les Coteaux: The French word for “slopes” – also matured for 12 – 16 months; fruity, balanced and long aftertaste. A sophisticated wine, with a bottle ageing capability of 8 or more years. This range includes a Cabernet Sauvignon, a Shiraz, a Merlot, a Cabernet Franc and a blend. These are fruit driven, accessible wines displaying varietal characteristics.

  • Hawequas

Named after the mountain depicted above; for export only; matured for about 16 months in small oak barrels; fruity, well-rounded; well-suited for every day drinking; goes well with meat, cheese and pasta.

  • La Colline Chenin Blanc

Straw yellow colour. The oak on this wine is immediately evident but is well integrated with the gooseberry and tropical fruit aromas that support the wine. The palate is rich and succulent yet retains the crisp acidity of the grape. A wholesome Chenin blanc and a great food wine.

  • La Colline Cabernet Sauvignon Rosé

The pale salmon colour of this wine fits well with its scintillating personality. It is lively, fresh and aromatic. Helped by some Viognier the wine offers spiciness and pleasant weight yet retaining its crisp appeal as the perfect summer wine. Enjoy with picnics or sundowners.
